New "Suicide Squad" Trailer Features Batman, Lots of Joker and Harley Quinn

via Comic Book Resources

The latest trailer for "Suicide Squad" debuted Sunday night as part of the MTV Movie Awards, and not only does it explain the basic premise of Warner Bros.' DC Comics-based film -- courtesy of Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, assembling the team of very bad people enlisted to do some good -- it also features plenty more of the Squad members including a "quite vexing" Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and Deadshot (Will Smith), along with the most viewers have seen yet of Jared Leto's Joker (including his laugh) and some Batman (Ben Affleck) thrown in for good measure; set to the tune of Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz." Plus, the trailer seems to continue the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" theme of general suspicion of Superman's destructive potential.

Directed by David Ayer, "Suicide Squad" is scheduled to open on Aug. 5.
